All five subjects wore a dynamic blood glucose meter (CGM) and ate 15 grams of pure psicose on an empty stomach at 8 a.m. 3 days later, the same wave of people, the same conditions, instead eat 15 grams of erythritol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking at the allulose data, it\u2019s a perfect horizontal line. The average fasting blood glucose was about 88 mg\/dL. In the two hours after eating, the maximum blood sugar fluctuation of all people was only a mere 2 mg\/dL. Insulin remained quietly at baseline, and the subjects were in a stable deep ketogenic state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Interestingly, 45 minutes after eating allulose, two people actually dropped their blood sugar slightly (from 90 to 85 mg\/dL). This also confirms some recent clinical data: if you eat allulose with other carbohydrates, it can even slightly inhibit the absorption of other carbohydrates. The erythritol test result was also a flat line, but two subjects said that their intestines and stomach were a little uncomfortable.
