Beverages and dairy products
XOS 70% Powder has documented acid and heat stability, which supports evaluation in yogurt, lactic-acid beverages, carbonated drinks, and other beverages exposed to acidic processing. XOS 70% Syrup offers the same specified XOS2-7 concentration on a dry basis for plants that meter liquid ingredients.
GOS 57% Syrup provides a lactose-derived option for dairy and nutrition formulas. Its 74.0–76.0% dry matter affects water balance, while the lactose-plus-monosaccharide fraction contributes to the formula's carbohydrate profile.
Bakery, candy, and prepared foods
XOS powders provide dry handling for bakery mixes, desserts, seasonings, canned foods, and candy. The grade determines how much powder is needed to reach a target amount of XOS2-7, so a higher grade leaves more of the formula available for flour, sweeteners, flavors, or other solids.
GOS syrup can contribute prebiotic solids and some sweetness to bakery and candy formulas. Its liquid load and residual lactose and monosaccharides can change solids balance, browning, and sweetness compared with an XOS powder.
Nutrition and health-food formats
Stachyose gives nutrition products a named, discrete tetrasaccharide in powder form rather than an oligosaccharide range classified by chain length. XOS fits products that need a selectable oligosaccharide concentration, and the 70% powder provides documented acid and heat stability for processed formats. GOS fits lactose-derived prebiotic concepts and liquid production when its lactose and monosaccharide contribution is compatible with the formula and label.
