Bulk Resistant Dextrin, Specified for Your Product

Resistant dextrin is a soluble dietary fiber ingredient available here as powder or syrup. A bulk specification begins with three choices: physical form, starch source, and target fiber content. Those choices affect handling, dry-solids calculations, label documentation, and the way quotations should be compared.

Sgnutri’s listed range includes corn- and tapioca-based products at 70% or 90% total fiber, depending on the item. Powder grades are supplied as dry, free-flowing ingredients, while syrup grades arrive as concentrated liquids with specified dry matter. The two forms should not be compared only by price per kilogram because a liquid shipment includes water and has different storage and dosing requirements.

Before approving a production order, match the product name and grade across the specification, sample label, and batch documents.

Choose the Form, Source, and Fiber Grade

Powder or syrup

Choose powder when your operation is set up for dry blending, bag handling, or reconstitution at the plant. Choose syrup when liquid metering and direct addition fit the line better. The listed syrups contain 75.0–75.4% dry matter, so compare them with powders on both an as-supplied and dry-matter basis.

Corn or tapioca

Corn and tapioca identify the starch source of the listed grade. Keep the source consistent with your formulation brief, customer requirements, and supporting documentation. A source statement alone does not establish an organic, allergen-free, gluten-free, or non-GMO claim; request the documents required for the destination market and finished product.

70% or 90% fiber

Use the declared total fiber content to narrow the grade. A 90% grade provides a higher fiber concentration per unit of ingredient than a 70% grade, while the appropriate choice still depends on the recipe, usage rate, sensory target, processing method, and cost on a dry-matter basis.

Specifications and Batch Quality Review

A product specification defines the limits for a grade. A certificate of analysis reports the results for a specific batch. Use the product cards to select the grade, then match the COA to the ordered product and batch before release. The current specification and COA should cover the physicochemical, contaminant, and microbiological criteria required for that order.

Match the Grade to the Application

Beverages and dairy systems

Syrup enters a liquid process without a separate reconstitution step and can be metered with other liquid ingredients. Powder keeps more of the formula’s water under the processor’s control and can be prepared as a solution at the plant. Because the listed syrups contain 75.0–75.4% dry matter, changing between forms changes both the fiber contribution and the water balance.

Bakery and dry mixes

Powder can be batched with flour, premixes, or other dry ingredients without adding the water carried by syrup. That makes it the direct starting point for bread, cakes, biscuits, nutrition powders, and other lines built around dry ingredient handling. The selected inclusion level still needs a formula trial because a 70% grade requires more ingredient mass than a 90% grade to deliver the same nominal amount of fiber.

Fiber-focused nutrition products

A 90% grade can reach a fiber target with less resistant dextrin than a 70% grade, leaving more room in the formula for other ingredients. A 70% grade can fit products where the higher inclusion rate is acceptable. Corn versus tapioca then becomes a source and documentation decision rather than a claim that one source performs better in every formula.

Send the Inputs for a Comparable Quote

A useful resistant dextrin bulk request includes:

  • exact grade: form, source, and fiber content;
  • application and trial or commercial quantity;
  • packaging and pallet preference;
  • destination and requested trade term;
  • required delivery date and sample quantity;
  • required documents.

Price changes with grade, quantity, packaging, documentation, freight, insurance, duties, taxes, and delivery term. Compare quotations only when the product specification and landed-cost boundary are the same. MOQ, sample terms, lead time, and quote validity can then be stated for that request.
